In 2011-2012 Junior League of Lafayette chose to split its organizational structure into Board of Directors and Management Team to allow both bodies to concentrate on important, yet different, areas of governance — Board of Directors to focus on strategic direction, while Management Team handled the implementation of the Annual Plan.
