Community Collaboration

At Junior League of Lafayette, we believe in the power of collaboration to create real, lasting change. Through both direct service and financial support, we are committed to strengthening our community by investing in organizations that uplift women and children.

Each year, we invite local nonprofits to apply for grants that align with our Mission and address pressing community needs. These Collaborative Opportunity Grants extend our reach by providing vital funding to other nonprofit organizations working tirelessly to make a difference. These grants, paired with volunteer support, allow the League to amplify its impact across Acadiana.

Additionally, Opportunity Knocks (2021) ensures that volunteers are ready to respond swiftly to immediate community needs, extending the League’s reach in times of vulnerability.

Since 1957 Junior League of Lafayette has proudly contributed more than $4 million to local nonprofits — reinforcing our deep commitment to meaningful change. We know that when we come together, we can accomplish more, and we are honored to support the incredible work happening in our community every day.
