For too many, the simple act of managing a period is a monthly struggle. Period poverty—the inability to afford essential menstrual products—impacts two in five women in the United States, forcing many to miss work, school, and daily activities simply because they don’t have access to the supplies they need. No one should have to choose between buying food, paying bills, or purchasing period products.

EmpowHER., an initiative of Junior League of Lafayette, is dedicated to breaking this cycle by providing menstrual supplies to individuals in need throughout our community. Through our distribution efforts and ongoing supply drives, we ensure that those who need period products can access them with dignity and confidence.
