A small act of kindness can make a world of difference. The Happy Wheels Hospitality Cart, brings comfort and care to families facing some of life’s most difficult moments.

When a loved one is hospitalized, stepping away—even for a quick break—can feel impossible. That’s where Happy Wheels comes in. Our volunteers visit hospital rooms at Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital, offering snacks, refreshments, activities, toiletries, and other essential items to patients and their families who cannot leave the bedside. This simple gesture not only meets immediate needs but also provides a sense of relief and support during stressful times.

Every bottle of water, pack of tissues, or coloring book handed out is more than just an item—it’s a reminder that these families are not alone. Junior League of Lafayette is honored to bring a moment of comfort and compassion through the Happy Wheels program.
