Transferring Your Membership

Are you already a Junior League Member? Junior League of Lafayette (JLL) warmly welcomes any Provisional, Active, or Sustaining transfer Members in good standing. We are excited to help you continue your journey of voluntarism, leadership, and community impact in Lafayette. A small transfer fee applies, in addition to any applicable dues.

Active transfer Members are encouraged to take a placement upon joining and will be paired with a Placement Advisor to help them get the most out of their League experience.

How to Transfer to Junior League of Lafayette

Notify Your Current League

• Contact your current or most recent League to initiate the transfer process.
• You can find League contact information on the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI) website.

AJLI Transfer Process

• Your current League will submit the transfer request through the AJLI system.
• JLL will be notified and will reach out to you with next steps.

Complete Your Transfer

• You’ll receive a welcome email from our Secretary with details on how to finalize your transfer.
• Once completed, you will be added to our membership roster and gain immediate access to our Member portal, volunteer shifts, and events.
